I'm baaack.....(and better than ever!)

Hello, ladies and gentlemen. I have to update you on soo m ch stuff, so I dilly, dally, or anything of that nature. First of all, my Algebra exam, for which I spent hours studying for, was a flop. Not much of the stuff on t he study guide was actually on the test. A lot of it was multipling trinomial fractions and changing the general to the vertex and stuff. There was about one question on probability. UGH. And there wasn't enough time, so I had to randomly fill in some bubbles. I'm really disappointed, not in myself, because I really did learn the stuff, but just disappointed that it isn't going to be reflected in my grade. This probably also means that I will not be accepted into 8 Honors, because they take the 90 students with the highest grade point average, and the C I will undoubtedly get will really bring that down. This is totally unfair, though, because 8 Honors is only science, english, and history (a.k.a. my best subjects). I hate that my placement, or lack there of, in honors is affected by my grade in math. It just doesn't seem right. I mean, english, was so incredibly easy this year, and I want tot learn! Walnut is a fabulous school (36th in the nation), and I want to get every drop of eduaction out of it. Even though I personally know many fine students who are really smart, talented, ect. that were not in 8 Honors, I really want to be in it. My mother said that she would be willing to talk to our councilor about it if I didn't get in, mostly for the reasons I have already listed. I'm really worried, however, that even my mom's persuasive powers will not be enough this time. I am trying to stop worrying, because.......................................

It's summer!!!!!

Today was my last day of school. Whatever happens next year, there is nothing more I can do about it now. Relax, kick back, and lounge around all day. At least for the first week, while Lauren is still in school. I need to make a list of stuff I want to do this summer. Let's start now!

  1. Become a pro at Wake Nation, a new watersports complex that is very cool.
  2. Throw the b-day bash of the year!
  3. Visit Coney Island frequently.
  4. Convince parents to let me invite friends down to Norris for a week, in addition to our family week-long trip.
  5. Clarify something with a certain someone whos' name I will not at this point in time reveal.
  6. Visit the drive-in.
  7. Clean my room (for those of you who haven't seen my room, you wouldn't think that this would be a long term goal; believe me, it is)
  8. Go horseback riding.
  9. Build a tree house.
  10. Read Wuthering Hights, The Chosen One, Max, and The Last Olympian.
  11. Visit the Freedom Center.
  12. Find family to babysit.

That's all I have for now, but I'm sure I will think of more.

Fun thing to look forward to: Sophie's birthday party! The sad thing is, it's on MY birthday (June 6). It's also the date of Tessa's wedding. So my own birthday will be filled with celebrating others. That's alrght though. Especially becase Sophie's bithday will be super fun. I know for sure that Barghav, Luke, John, Catrina, Chase, Gabby, and me are coming. Oh, and also Claire. Fun assortment of people; should be a blast! Now...what should I get her? Better Question: What should I ask for for my birthday?? My mom is getting me Bare Minerals (yay x 10!!), and I may ask my dad to get my necklace that a got for my Golden Birthday (when I was 6) cleaned. But what can my friends get me? Hmm, I shall ponder this in my heart.

Book you should never read: Gossip Girl. Don't ask why, just don't read it. The show is cool, though (;

This post has gotten long enough, so ima leave now. OH! Wait! I totally forgot t orant about Christ Allen winning American Idol. This is the biggest upset in the history of the show (yes, even more than Awful Aiken and Ruben Retard). ADAM DESERVED IT. Chris even said that. Now, when the winner doesn't believe that he/she disn't deserve to win, something is wrong. I'll tell you what's wrong: the fact that Adam didn't win. I had jokingly said, "Watch Chris win. *snicker*". But I never really believed he would. He won over Allison, Danny, and Adam?! No way. He was a great singer. But so were the other three. I'm thinking his rendition of Heartless might have tipped the scale, becauase it showed his versatility, more than Apologize, his judges' pick. Come on, Cara and Dawg, what were you thinking? Terrible song choice; I agree with Simon 100%. Which brings me to another horror: Simon Cowell is leaving American Idol after next year. I won't watch it fter that. Simon is the funniest judge, and aso the only one whos' opinion matters one speck. Randy, eh. Too much "for me for you"-ing. Just say what you think already! Cara acts like she knows everything and moves her head around too much. Also, she says "artistry" so much that it makes me want to shoot myself. Paula, do not get me started on her. The only thing she adds to the show is time. Her outfits are horrible, her comments nonsensical, her flitation with Simon oh-so-6th grade. Alright, enough complaining for one (very long) post. Thanks for reading and come again.

You know you love me,

Megan
